I am a surgical oncologist with expertise in the management of cancers of the pancreas, liver, bile ducts, stomach, and esophagus. My research interests include prediction of occult malignancy in pancreatic cysts; care disparities, optimization of care, and preoperative risk assessment in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery; organ-preserving surgery for early gastric cancer; and novel methods of communication, evaluation, and instruction in surgical education.
