Colonya C. Calhoun Burns, DDS, PhD, is the CEO and President of Integrative Oral Health Solutions.  Dr. Calhoun Burns is also an Adjunctive Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Previously, Dr. Calhoun Burns served as the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Hospital Dentistry and Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.  She also holds an Assistant Professor, Clinical Series appointment at Charles R. Drew University, and a Lecturer position in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. 

Dr. Calhoun Burns received her B.S. in Chemistry in 1992 from Eastern Michigan University and her D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1997. She completed her internship at the University of Maryland Medical System, Baltimore, in 1998 and completed her residency at Martin Luther King/Charles R. Drew University in 2004, both in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2008, Dr. Calhoun completed a PhD in the Department of Oral Biology, School of Dentistry, at the University of California, Los Angeles.
