Jeffrey J. Tosoian, MD, MPH, is a clinical lecturer and oncology fellow in the Department of Urology. Jeff earned his medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree in epidemiological and biostatistical methods for clinical research at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He completed residency training in urological surgery at the Johns Hopkins Brady Urological Institute. His research focuses on optimizing the diagnosis and personalized management of prostate cancer and other genitourinary malignancies through the use of emerging tools (e.g., novel biomarkers and imaging techniques) and contemporary technologies (e.g., next-generation sequencing).
