I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics (DCMB), with over ten years of extensive analytical experience in large-scale genomic data. With interdisciplinary academic training, my primary research interest is investigating genetic risk factors for human cardiovascular diseases using computational and statistical methods. I am currently working for Dr. Santhi Ganesh in the department of internal medicine. I utilized MGI as an external large control sample pool to compare the patients collected in our lab with arterial diseases to identify genetic variant risks to the study group.
