I am a board-certified Anesthesiologist with expertise in Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, with research interests in the mechanisms and treatment of acute and chronic postoperative pain. I have graduate training in cell biology, genetics, and in vivo animal models. I am currently completing an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan. My current research proposal combines my graduate training in human genetics with my clinical knowledge of acute and chronic postoperative pain.
