Dr. Pugashetti is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Michigan, in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. After receiving her undergraduate degree from UCLA, she went on to receive her medical degree, Internal Medicine training, and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at UC Davis. Dr. Pugashetti has also completed a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology.

Dr. Pugashetti’s research focuses on clinical and translational markers in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). She is interested in studying blood-based biomarkers and radiomic biomarkers to tailor clinical decision-making. Research interests also include early ILD screening and detection using natural language processing. Ultimately, she aims to improve ILD patient outcomes through precision medicine.
