You-shin Chen is currently an Assistant Professor in Biology at University of Michigan-Flint. She obtained her B.S. degree in Biotechnology from Washington State University, M.S. degree in Biotechnology from Georgetown University, and Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University. Dr. Chen is a molecular and cellular biologist by training. Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms of cancer, and development of 3-dimensional (3-D) cell culture models to study how environmental contaminants affects human health.
